Steve Baker founded Archer’s Playground to provide Archers with shooting opportunities while increasing their skill and knowledge.
Our Staff
Coaches and Instructors
Our coaches and instructors hold USA Archery (USAA) certifications. We have USAA Level 3 Coaches, Level 2 Judges, Instructor Trainers, and S3DA Instructors.
All staff maintain current U.S. Center for Safe Sport certification, background checks, and additional certifications

Steve is the founder of Archer’s Playground and the Critter Hitters. His instructor background includes 25 years of professionally teaching firearms, use-of-force, and security courses. His current practice involves testifying as an expert in security and use-of-force-related civil litigation. On the training side, Steve has changed his focus to archery after 25 years of instructing security and firearm courses.
